People have a lot of different ways in Celebrating “Presidents Day” We
were blessed at the Hope House yesterday when 17 senior students from
Eldon High School and School of the Osage under the direction of the
Youth Group of Horseshoe Bend Baptist Church came to help clean,
organize . . . anything they were asked to do. The pictures will pretty much
tell what they did. We want to thank the schools, Horseshoe Bend Baptist
Church Youth Group Leaders and especially the kids that came to serve
The Hope House, their Community and our God for doing what He
asks us to do . . . SERVE OTHERS
Students of King’s Academy from Christ the King Lutheran Church
gave a couple of hours on Friday to help do whatever was asked of them.
From lots of cleaning, sorting clothes to helping move things around . . .
it is always such a blessing when these groups of young volunteers come
to help those who are in need. Thank you Young People !!!
HOME DEPOT DONATES A PALLET OF CANNED GOODS
Sharing and Caring is not just a Christmas event. We were blessed the other
day when a truck backed up to our loading dock and employees of the Osage
Beach Home Depot unloaded a pallet of canned goods. These canned goods
will be used when we distribute food to our qualified clients that come each
day to receive assistance. We want to thank The Home Depot for their
generosity. We are very blessed by all areas around the lake by many
businesses and individuals that contribute to our mission.
WE THANK YOU VERY MUCH
These students from Cradle to Crayon Preschool brought a cart full
of canned goods to the Hope House Recently. It’s great to see children
learning to be charitable at an early age.
Marcus/Wherenberg Annual Can Food Film Festival
The Hope House would like to thank everyone that participated in this
event here at the Lake last Saturday. Through your participation
of donating canned goods to see a free movie you helped feed many
people of need throughout the Lake of the Ozarks area. Thank you
again and may God bless !!!
